For a dog friendly place to stay for one night close to the beach, Phil and Ann’s Sunset Motel was a great choice. The room was clean, the person who checked us in was friendly, and the price was a lot less expensive than other places I was checking out. Beaches and restaurants are close by. The place has a really sweet vibe.

A wonderful throwback to simpler time. A small roadside spot with adorable rooms. Rooms have fridge, microwave, ice maker, and pod coffee makers. Very clean with daily maid service. Also has a large sandbox and swimming pool (seasonal). This is our 2nd stay and would stay again if we're back to RI

We needed a place close to URI for parent's weekend. We ended up not needing one night, but cancelled too close to the deadline. The motel worked with us anyway, was able to rent the room, and refunded our money. The room was better than some larger hotel chains I've stayed at. It was super clean, well maintained, and spacious. It was after the season, and we were only there for one night, but the outside amenities looked great too. Firepits, a pool, shuffleboard, and other areas made us regret not being able to stay longer. We will definitely be staying here again when we visit our daughter.

For our first trip to Rhode Island, this gem of a place was recommended to us by a family member and we were not disappointed at all!! The rooms were clean, modern, and very nicely decorated. In speaking to the amazing friendly and kind staff, we were informed that the rooms were just renovated. I love the sliding barn door over the bathroom instead of your traditional door, such a space saver. The property was clean as well and so much to do from putt putt to shuffle board and the pool was amazing. My daughter just had an amazing time and she met a little friend there as well. Such a great little gem, close to everything, and right off the main road and close to a Dunks to boot!! We will definitely be staying there again and making them part of our family tradition.

After owning a home in the area for many years and selling this summer I neede a place to stay in the area. I can’t say enough about how clean and well maintained the rooms are. The grounds are loaded with colorful flowers and blooming plants everywhere. Our twin beds room was small but included cable connected tv, microwave , small fridge and portable ice maker. It included a high wall heat/AC unit that provided perfect temp control for the changing early October weather. I would highly recommend this motel and will stay here again for sure. See the website for all its amenities.

Spent the weekend with friends at Phil and Ann's and had a great time. We stayed here 4 or 5 years ago too. The rooms were very clean and the king size bed was like sleeping on a cloud!!! The rooms include a microwave, small refrigerator, single cup Keurig, coffee pods, creamer, sugar, cups, stirrers and an in room ice maker. The pool was lovely and there chairs and tables with umbrellas, lounge chairs and pool noodles. We had a picnic grilling burgers and dogs on the provided small grill. There were 2 picnic tables with umbrellas. They had plenty to do on the grounds: mini golf, sandbox, shuffleboard, bocce, horseshoes, badminton, a hammock and 2 bonfire areas. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!!

Contrary to what a number of sites say, there is no longer a front office. Check in is by phone. The grounds are right next to Rt 1 so there is some traffic noise. They were working on grounds improvements while we were there. They were also on the roof of our unit (#15) for some reason one afternoon. Wifi service is poor. Could not find either network on any of three devices half the time. When it did connect, signal was very weak. Great location for a few days of sightseeing and seafood. Comfy beds
